Samuel Timothy McGraw was born on May 1, 1967. His 1994 album Not a Moment Too Soon was his breakthrough, and in total he has released 17 studio albums. Ten of his albums have topped the Top Country Albums chart. Billboard named three of his singles, "It's Your Love", "Just to See You Smile" and "Live Like You Were Dying", the top country song of their year (1997, 1998 and 2004). He has won three Grammy Awards and has sold more than 80 million records worldwide. In 2026 he entered the Country Music Hall of Fame. McGraw has also acted, with lead roles in Flicka, Country Strong and 1883, and supporting parts in The Blind Side and Friday Night Lights. He has been married to singer Faith Hill since 1996.
