About Troy Millings
Troy Millings is an educator who co-founded the media company Earn Your Leisure with financial advisor Rashad Bilal. The company is part of a global movement that aims to equip urban communities with resources for building wealth. Millings and Bilal wrote You Deserve to Be Rich, which presents a blueprint for financial freedom and treats money as a strategic tool for building wealth. They question the traditional American Dream and call for individual financial goals backed by education, mentorship and access to resources. In 2023 the pair received a nomination at the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP) Image Awards, in the Outstanding Social Media Personality category. They have also worked with the New York City Department of Education to bring a financial literacy course into high schools.
