About Ulrich Boser
Boser has worked as an editor, reporter, writer and education researcher. His articles have been published in The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal and The Washington Post, among other outlets. He was a contributing editor at U.S. News & World Report and has served as a senior fellow at the Center for American Progress. He was labelled a slow learner by his teachers as a child, and that experience sparked his later interest in how learning works. Learn Better explores recent research on learning and how people can build skills more effectively. For his reporting, he took basketball lessons from a former Harlem Globetrotter. He also wrote The Gardner Heist, published by HarperCollins in February 2009. It examines the 1990 theft of twelve artworks from the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum in Boston.
