About William Davis

Davis is the author of the Wheat Belly series. The books argue that modern wheat is not the same as the wheat of 1960, because of genetic changes made to raise crop yields, and that cutting it out can improve health. He has also written the Wheat Belly Cookbook (2012) and Undoctored (2017), which encourages readers to take charge of their own health. His more recent book Super Gut focuses on restoring the gut microbiome. He has appeared on national television shows including CBS This Morning, and he lives in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
