You will lead BookBits‘s relationships with the authors, publishers and literary agents behind the books in our catalog, and every partnership we sign with them.
What you’ll do
- Own our relationships with international publishers, literary agents and authors.
- Structure and negotiate partnership and licensing agreements.
- Lead official summaries with authors and our editors, and royalty reporting with finance.
- Keep the rights details of every book accurate.
- Represent BookBits at industry events and grow our publishing network.
What you bring
- Proven experience negotiating commercial or legal agreements.
- Many open deals at once, each followed to the end.
- Business-level English.
- A real interest in books. Publishing experience is a plus, not a requirement.
Nice to have
- Rights and licensing.
- Audiobooks or digital publishing.
- A second language.
