About Bo Seo
Bo Seo is a South Korean-Australian journalist and author who has won both the World Schools Debating Championships (2013) and the World Universities Debating Championship (2016). In 2013 he captained the Australian team to first place and was the tournament's top speaker. He has coached the Australian national debating team and the Harvard College Debating Union. His writing has appeared in The New York Times, The Atlantic and CNN, and he has also reported nationally for the Australian Financial Review. He has been a regular panelist on the Australian program The Drum. Seo graduated summa cum laude from Harvard University and earned a master's degree in public policy from Tsinghua University. His book Good Arguments looks at how debating skills can be carried into public discourse and personal relationships.
