About Joseph J Romm
Joseph J. Romm earned a Ph.D. in physics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). In the 1990s he worked at the US Department of Energy, including six months as Acting Assistant Secretary. He founded the blog Climate Progress in 2006 while a senior fellow at the Center for American Progress. In 2009 Time magazine counted him among its environmental heroes. Romm published ten books on global warming, clean energy and communications. Language Intelligence, from 2012, deals with the effective use of rhetoric.
