Lindsay C. Gibson, PsyD, is a licensed clinical psychologist with more than thirty years of experience. Her training includes degrees from Central Michigan University and the Virginia Consortium Program in Clinical Psychology. She has practiced privately in Virginia Beach, Virginia, where she has focused on therapy with adults who grew up with emotionally immature parents. Gibson wrote Adult Children of Emotionally Immature Parents and Who You Were Meant to Be. She has also written a monthly well-being column for Tidewater Women magazine, and she has taught graduate psychology as an adjunct assistant professor at the College of William and Mary and at Old Dominion University.
