Matt Gutman is an American journalist who has reported on wars and disasters from nearly 50 countries. He won an Emmy in 2016 for Outstanding Children's Series. No Time to Panic describes his effort over three and a half years to free himself from panic attacks, after one happened while he was on air. Along the way he tried approaches ranging from medication and breathwork to cognitive-behavioral therapy and psychedelics. His earlier book, The Boys in the Cave, covers the 2018 rescue of a Thai soccer team trapped in a flooded cave.
