Peter Zeihan is an American author and geopolitical analyst who focuses on global energy, demographic and security issues. Earlier in his career he worked for the US State Department in Australia and in the Washington, DC think tank community. He was also a vice president at the intelligence firm Stratfor, where he helped develop analytical models. In 2012 he founded Zeihan on Geopolitics to provide custom analysis to a select group of clients. Those clients have included energy companies, financial institutions, universities and the US military. His work has featured in Forbes, Bloomberg, the New York Times and the Wall Street Journal. His first book, The Accidental Superpower, came out in 2014. In 2022 he published The End of the World Is Just the Beginning.
