About Stephen Key
Stephen Key is an independent inventor who built a career licensing consumer product ideas. He brought a packaging solution to market that is covered by more than 20 patents. He also fought a federal court case to protect his intellectual property from one of the largest toy companies. In 1999 he cofounded inventRight, a coaching program whose students have come from more than 60 countries. In 2017 he cofounded Inventors Groups of America. He also cofounded inventYES, a no-cost program for high school students around the world. His bestselling book One Simple Idea: How to Turn Your Dreams Into a Licensing Goldmine sets out his 10-step approach to licensing ideas.
