Liff is a classically trained artist. He spent 32 years in the Federal government, where he led several transformation efforts. One effort earned his office a Hammer Award from Vice President Al Gore for reinventing government, and another brought it a PILLAR (Performance Incentives Leadership Linked to Achieving Results) Award. He has also advised and taught government agencies and businesses, and he speaks at conferences. His work covers managing people, measuring performance, visual management and building teams.
