About Tabitha Brown

Tabitha Brown was born in North Carolina and briefly studied fashion before leaving school to pursue acting. She has appeared on television in shows such as The Chi and Good Morning America. After developing chronic pain and fatigue, she changed to a vegan diet to find relief. She started her TikTok account in 2020 and gained followers soon after, sharing videos that mix veganism, humor and motivational speaking. Brown hosts the Food Network's first plant-based cooking competition, It's CompliPlated, and the YouTube children's show Tab Time, which won her an Emmy in 2023 in the children's and family category for hosting. In 2021 she was named Outstanding Social Media Personality at the NAACP Image Awards, and that year she also published her first book, Feeding the Soul (Because It's My Business). A cookbook, Cooking from the Spirit, followed.
