Ed Yong is a British-American science journalist and author. He has reported for The Atlantic, and pieces by him have also run in National Geographic, the New Yorker, Wired and Nature. In 2021 he was awarded the Pulitzer Prize in the explanatory reporting category for his coverage of the COVID-19 pandemic. I Contain Multitudes, published in 2016, was his first book.
