About Eve Rodsky

Eve Rodsky is a graduate of Harvard Law School, and she also studied economics and anthropology at the University of Michigan. She worked in foundation management at J.P. Morgan, then founded the Philanthropy Advisory Group, which advises wealthy families and charitable foundations. She was raised by a single mother in New York City. In Fair Play, she applies her background in family mediation, law and organizational management to the way couples divide domestic work. The system centers on a card game in which each partner holds cards representing the many household and childcare tasks a family involves. She developed it after interviewing more than five hundred men and women and testing the approach with couples.
