About Joseph Grenny
Joseph Grenny has spent thirty years researching human behavior at work. He has studied how formal and informal norms guide what people do in organizations each day. He was a protégé of Albert Bandura. He coauthored Crucial Conversations, Crucial Accountability and Change Anything, along with Influencer, which was later republished as Crucial Influence. Together these four books have more than six million copies in print. Grenny founded VitalSmarts, a company offering corporate training and leadership development, and Ernst & Young named him an Entrepreneur of the Year for it. He also speaks at business conferences, including the HSM World Business Forum.
