About Kelly McGonigal
Kelly McGonigal is an award-winning science writer and a lecturer at Stanford University. Her research looks at the link between mind and body, and at how people can build resilience and compassion. The Willpower Instinct is an international bestseller. She has worked as a teacher of dance, yoga and group exercise around the San Francisco Bay Area since the year 2000. In a talk at TEDGlobal 2013, she argued that believing you can cope with stress plays a major part in how you actually respond to it.
