About Alex Edmans
Alex Edmans is a British academic and economist who teaches finance at London Business School. His doctorate is from MIT, where he studied as a Fulbright Scholar. He was earlier a tenured professor at Wharton and an investment banker at Morgan Stanley. He has spoken at the World Economic Forum in Davos and given evidence to the UK Parliament. He has also spoken at TED, on confirmation bias and the importance of weighing evidence carefully. Grow the Pie was one of the Financial Times best books of 2020.
